To commemorate Jane Austen’s literary genius and her 250th birthday in 2025, we present the Jane Austen Pen. The second in our esteemed Writers Pen series, following the Shakespeare Pen, it honours her legacy

Crafted in sterling silver at our Emsworth workshop near her Hampshire cottage, this limited edition of 200 celebrates her story.

At 129mm in length and 12mm barrel diameter, it’s smaller than the Shakespeare Pen. Ideal for those who prefer a refined, compact design.

The cap features a laser-engraved portrait, inspired by Cassandra’s famous sketch at the National Portrait Gallery. A facsimile of Jane’s autograph adorns the cap band.

Each pen is unique with an edition number on the barrel end. English hallmarks—the year date and sterling silver lion—stamp our heritage craftsmanship.

As the world marks her 250th with Bath’s September festival and Hampshire’s December celebrations, this pen connects global collectors to her legacy.

The Jane Austen is available as a Fountain Pen or a Rollerball. The Fountain pen comes with a choice of Extra Fine, Fine, Medium or Broad 2-tone 18ct gold CS nibs.

The Rollerball has a choice of Blue or Black ink, and Medium or Fine refill.
