The Conway Stewart Winston Chased Classic Black Silver with sterling silver fittings holds true to the classic 1920s styling that made Conway Stewart famous, yet exudes a contemporary freshness that makes it a joy to hold and use. With a slight taper to the barrel end and a gently rounded cap top, it weighs in at a hefty 54 grams – this is definitely a heavyweight pen!
The blind end of the barrel unscrews to reveal a silver-plated knurled top of the twist filler - a delightful feature. The Conway Stewart Winston Chased Classic Black Silver is adorned with sterling silver fittings – a narrow ring at the barrel end and a wider band at the nib section, hallmarked for authenticity, while the cap features a pair of narrow silver rings, adding an extra touch of luxury.
Beautifully built and named in honour of Sir Winston Churchill, the Conway Stewart Winston Chased Classic Black Silver is substantial and stately. It's the perfect choice if you prefer a large pen that stands out without compromising the classic style and feel of vintage Conway Stewart. The top-mounted clip ensures the pen sits low in your pocket, making it practical for everyday use, and its carefully balanced solid brass liner gives this model a comfortable heft without excessive weight.
Should you prefer a Cartridge/Converter version, which is a lighter pen, it can be ordered at no extra charge. See the Filling Mechanism tab for further details.
Each pen is elegantly housed in a Conway Stewart black leather presentation box, doubling as a showcase pen stand for your desk.
Pens are handmade to order, so please allow up to 28 days for delivery.
